Overview

WP Fix It provides web development, website maintenance, WordPress support, technical fixes, optimisation, consulting, and related website services.

Because these are service-based offerings, there are no physical products to return. Refunds are handled based on the type of service provided, the billing period, the work already completed, and the agreement made before the work begins.

By purchasing or approving work from WP Fix It, you agree to this Refund and Returns Policy.

Service-Based Work

Our services may include, but are not limited to:

Once work has started, time, planning, technical investigation, development, setup, communication, monitoring, and testing may already have been carried out. For this reason, completed work and time already spent are generally non-refundable.

Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered only in limited situations, such as:

Refunds are not normally provided for:

Development Projects

For web development projects, payments may be split into deposits, milestones, or final balances.

Deposits are generally non-refundable once planning, communication, setup, design, development, or technical work has started.

If a project is cancelled by the client after work has started, WP Fix It may retain payment for the work already completed and any time already spent.

If a refund is considered, it will be calculated based on the remaining unused portion of the service, not on the full project value.

Monthly Maintenance and Support Plans

Monthly maintenance and support plans are billed for a specific monthly service period.

Once a monthly billing period has started, the payment for that month is generally non-refundable. This is because maintenance includes availability, monitoring, updates, checks, support capacity, account management, and technical readiness, even if the client does not request active work during that period.

If a client cancels during an active monthly billing period, service will continue until the end of the paid period unless otherwise agreed.

No partial refund is normally provided for a monthly plan that has already started.

To avoid being charged for the next monthly billing period, cancellation must be completed before the next renewal date.

Yearly Maintenance and Support Plans

Yearly maintenance and support plans are billed upfront for a full annual service period.

Annual plans may include discounted pricing compared to monthly billing. Because of this, yearly payments are generally non-refundable once the annual service period has started.

If a client cancels a yearly maintenance plan before the end of the annual term, WP Fix It may, at its discretion, review whether any unused prepaid service time is eligible for refund.

Where a refund is approved for a cancelled yearly plan, the refund may be calculated by:

Yearly plan refunds are not automatic and must be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Maintenance Plan Cancellation

Cancellation requests can be submitted in writing to:

support@wpfixit.org

Clients may also cancel eligible active subscriptions directly from their account dashboard, where this option is available.

For monthly maintenance plans, cancellation should be completed before the next billing period begins.

For yearly maintenance plans, cancellation will stop future service after the agreed cancellation date, but it does not automatically create a refund entitlement.

If a cancellation is completed through the client account dashboard, the client is responsible for ensuring the cancellation has been submitted successfully before the next renewal date.

WP Fix It may confirm cancellation requests in writing where required.

Third-Party Costs

Some services may involve third-party costs, such as:

Third-party costs are non-refundable once purchased, registered, activated, renewed, or paid to the provider.

Refunds for third-party services are subject to the refund policy of the third-party provider, not WP Fix It.

Revisions and Fixes

If there is an issue with work completed by WP Fix It, please contact us first so we can review and correct the issue where appropriate.

A refund will not normally be issued where a reasonable fix, revision, or correction can be provided within the agreed scope of work.

Additional requests, new features, design changes, or changes outside the original agreed scope may be quoted separately.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Please allow a reasonable number of business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund has been approved but you have not received it yet, please first check your bank account or payment account again.

Then contact your card issuer, payment provider, or bank, as processing times can vary.

If you have done this and still have not received your refund, contact us at:
